Danielle Newson lives in Shere, works for the NHS and is a longstanding resident of Tillingbourne ward.
Danielle was elected in Tillingbourne in May 2023 and has been working hard across the villages to support our communities.
Danielle says: "Thank you to everyone who voted for me in May 2023. I really enjoy being your local councillor and champion. One highlight of the role since being elected was being on the Surrey Police and Crime Panel for 2 years raising issues of Violence Against Women and Girls and rural crime with the Police and Crime Commissioner.
"I have also been working closely with our 3 Parish Councils to keep the area safe and clean for our residents and visitors. They provide and maintain our playgrounds, empty the bins and dog waste bins. They deal with planning applications and the Neighbourhood Plan for a source of affordable local housing. They provide a key service and I will continue to do all I can to support them.
“I run a drop in surgery the first Saturday of every month at the Dabbling Duck in Shere from 10-11.30am. Please come in and see me with any queries or just for a catch up.”
