Guildford Liberal Democrats are a large diverse group of councillors and campaigners working hard all year round for residents, businesses and other organisations across Guildford, Cranleigh and our Villages.
Since 5th May 2023, the Lib Dems are the largest party on Guildford Borough Council with a group of 25 councillors and are therefore running the council.
On Waverley Borough Council we hold 22 seats and are part of a rainbow coalition that brings together the Lib Dems, Farnham Residents, Labour and the Greens to run the council. There are currently six Lib Dem councillors representing areas of Waverley Borough which fall within the Guildford constituency.
Since the election, we are the largest opposition party on Surrey County Council with 14 councillors across the county, including our 5 in the Guildford Borough area.

A lot of our Councillors hold ward surgeries / resident drop in sessions on a regular basis. This gives residents the opportunity to meet their local representatives in person and speak to them about any issues they might have.
