Angela Goodwin
Guildford Borough Councillor for Onslow, Surrey County Councillor for Guildford South West
Angela Goodwin has lived in Guildford since December 1995 with husband David and their daughter; elected borough councillor in Friary & St Nicolas in 2015, and then as County Councillor in 2017 and 2021.
Whilst both local authorities have different statutory responsibilities, at the core of both are the residents and communities and she is now standing as a borough council candidate in Onslow, the ward where she lives.
Angela enjoys serving her community, working to give residents a voice to make their lives and community the best possible. Angela is as passionate as her Liberal Democrat colleagues about the urgent need for truly affordable homes, collectively addressing climate change issues and making residential roads safer for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles with residents' support.
A member of the GBC Access group and a trustee of two local charities - a Guildford Almshouse and one that supports adults managing their mental-health.
