Yesterday, votes were counted across Surrey for the two new unitary councils - West and East Surrey. In a historic win, both new Surrey councils are to be run by the Liberal Democrats! Here in Guildford Borough, we won 12 out of 20 new council seats.
We want to thank everyone who voted for our councillors and for us to run the council. There are challenges ahead, but there is also an enormous opportunity.
