Fiona White

Guildford Borough Councillor for Ash Wharf, Surrey County Councillor for Guildford West

Fiona White has lived in Ash for more than 40 years and has seen a lot of changes in that time. Her children grew up there and her daughter and grandson still live in Ash Wharf.

Fiona is standing as a Liberal Democrat borough councillor for Ash Wharf because she feels that our area has been taken for granted for too long. She believes the community needs strong voices to speak up for it.

A particular priority for Fiona is the lack of activities for young people despite the fact that there is a purpose-built youth centre within walking distance of almost all of the village. She wants to see this brought back into use.

Fiona says, "As your local councillor I want to work with everyone locally to make this the best area possible for us all to live in whether we are young families, children or older people."
